Week Of Prayer: Day 3 (Program Camps)
Today is day 3 of our week of prayer.
Today we are praying for our program camp department.
Program Camps are the retreats, camps, and events that we Black Lake Bible Camp plans, hosts, and implements on our campus. Programs like BLBC Kids, Day Camp, Family Camps, and Women’s Retreat, to name a few.
Our Program Camps allow us to be very hands-on with each camper and build precious relationships with them. They also provide us with the most opportunities to share the gospel more directly. Because we are so close to the programs, we get the chance to see a lot of lives transformed through faith in Jesus Christ. It’s such an honor to host our program camps!
Our Guest Groups and our Program Camps are the REASON we are here at Black Lake Bible Camp; they are the two major avenues God has asked us to share the love of Jesus Christ with everyone. Without them, we wouldn’t be Black Lake Bible Camp and Retreat Center.
“12 There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. 13 We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. 14 So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts... 24b But God has put together all the parts of the body. And he has given more honor to the parts that didn’t have any. 25 In that way, the parts of the body will not take sides. All of them will take care of one another. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it. If one part is honored, every part shares in its joy. 27 You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it.”
As we pray for our Program department today, there are four main areas we'd like to cover.
1. Pray for the programs and events themselves.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Pray for each camper who attends a program camp.
Pray for the New Year’s Family Camp and that families can come to get renewed, especially after having to endure a challenging year for most people.
BLBC Kids Program: Bring more campers, pray for salvation for each camper
BLBC Kids Program Staff: Give them energy and high morale in working in positions they typically don’t work in. Patience as they help the kids figure out their online schooling.
2. Pray for the staff in Program department.

Phil Ewert
Executive Director
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Pray for discernment as we move forward into another year of uncertainty in program camps.
Ask God to encourage each staff member as they have had to adapt a lot in the past eight months, and it can be very tiring.
Pray that God would bless their work and bring about fruitfulness in their own lives, and in the lives of others.
3. Pray for our 2021 Summer Staff.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Pray that the Lord would lead the right people here that are willing to serve and that we would have enough staff to bring in all campers that want to come.
4. Praises
God has done such mighty work since COVID-19 really began to hit us here at BLBC. There are so many things to praise Him for!
PRAISES:
For every child and staff that came this summer and this fall.
For Women’s Retreat! It was such a blessing.
For God’s protection for our summer in 2020! It is a miracle that we were even able to open our doors and we are so grateful for this gift!
