 Men’s Retreat

May 2-4, 2025

It’s not just a menu; it’s a MENu!

Challenged.

Be challenged through activities such as axe-throwing, kayaking, fishing, disc golf, pickleball, Giant Swing, and much more!

Encouraged.

Be encouraged by fellow believers at the table, on the lake, and around the campfire.

Equipped.

Be equipped through real-world workshops and the preaching of God’s Word.

Biblical manhood is under attack in our society. Now, more than ever, it is imperative upon Christian men to be actively mentoring the next generation. Discipleship takes time, and that’s why we have built Mentoring Minutes into our 2025 Men’s Retreat schedule.

We encourage you to register as a mentor or mentee with someone else (father/son, friend, church member) and take full advantage of this weekend. During the Mentoring Minutes, you will have time to pray together, discuss the sessions, and encourage one another.

When you register with a mentor or mentee, you each will receive one free beverage of your choice from the Camp Store.

Challenge yourself through a variety of adventurous activities!

fun free-time activities include Canoeing, Disc Golf Competition, Axe-Throwing Tournament, Climbing Wall, Dodgeball, Archery Tag, Pickleball, Giant Swing, and fishing.

Join in the fun at our Shotgun Shootout at Evergreen Sportsmen’s Club. Participants should bring their own gun and ammo and plan to drive/carpool. Prices range from $10-$30, which is paid at the club.

Spend the afternoon exploring Black River via kayak! Transportation to and from the river is provided for a $5 fee, and space is limited. So be sure to sign up when you register to reserve your spot!

Back by popular demand is our annual Axe Throwing Tournament. Free of charge, this fun competition is open to all. Registration for the tournament occurs at Friday night dinner.

Meet billy hopper.

Pastor. Educator. speaker.

Billy Hopper is the pastor of Honolulu Bible Church on the island of O’ahu, a role he has held since 2008. His call to ministry was both unexpected and personal, as his father had previously pastored the church. Before becoming a pastor, Billy served as the principal of Hanalani Schools, his alma mater. In addition to his pastoral duties, Billy enjoys speaking in chapel and leading Bible studies at a men’s prison. He loves spending time outdoors with his family, whether hiking, camping, or surfing on Oahu’s North Shore.
