Reports to Food Service Manager or Assistant Manager. Cooks support and actively contribute to fulfilling the mission of the BLBC Food Service department by working as part of a team to make our guests feel valued by providing excellent and hospitable service.
Time: Part Time Year Round
Salary Type: Hourly Pay
Housing: No on-site housing provided
· Cooking and baking a variety of items in an efficient manner according to provided recipes
· Prepping a variety of items in an efficient manner according to BLBC kitchen standards
· Properly labeling and storing prepped items and leftovers
· Serving meals according to BLBC kitchen standards
· Assist in maintaining a safe and sanitary Food Service operation
· Washing/cleaning dishes, floors, walls, and equipment
· Setting up and tearing down service and dining areas
· Stocking dishes, utensils, and food items for service
· Laundering kitchen linens
· Removing trash and recycling
· Other tasks as assigned

To serve guests with excellence, being a liaison between the retreat group and Black Lake Bible Camp hospitality staff. Hosts will stay on property during event, including overnight, and come alongside groups providing information, problem solving, ensuring safety, and a premier guest experience.
Time: Part Time Year Round
Compensation: $250 per weekend stipend. Meals included in stay.
Housing: Housing and meals provided during retreat stay.
· Provides exceptional hospitality to guest groups for the full duration of their stay.
· Assists with check-in and ensures all paperwork is collected from each group upon check-in
· Provides appropriate spiritual support to group leadership during an event.
· Acts as the primary contact person and liaison for group leadership and campers during their retreat.
· Delivers announcements and safety guidelines to group leadership and campers.
· Assists Hospitality and Accommodations staff as needed.
· Responsible for checking out all Guest Groups.
· Provides detailed event feedback to the Hospitality department.
· Provides light cleaning duties while serving guests as needed.
· Available for communication during the week for follow up from the event.
· Performs all other duties as assigned by leadership
Services, clean and set rooms, meeting spaces, restrooms, buildings, and staff offices with the highest internal and external service in mind. This position is a part time position, not to exceed 20 hours per week September – April, with the possibility for more hours May – August if needed.
Time: Part Time Year Round
Compensation: $16.28 per hour
Housing: No on-site housing provided
· Services and cleans all assigned guest rooms, meeting rooms, restrooms, buildings, offices, and other areas in accordance with our cleaning standards.
· Follows all safety standards relating to work responsibilities.
· Works under Accommodations Coordinator and Housekeeper to accomplish daily task lists and duties
· Sets up and moves furniture as requested.
· Report’s facility needs to Accommodations Coordinator and or Housekeeper
· Relates graciously to guests and staff.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
