Pack List: Day Camp & SALTS

Here’s what you should be packing in your camper’s backpack for Day Camp!

At Day Camp, it is our goal to create a safe space for campers to enjoy their summer as they learn more about the God who created them. We are so blessed to be able to host our Day Camp program this summer, even during COVID-19.

As you can imagine, things are very different than they have been in past summers - but that won’t stop us from enjoying our time together and sharing the Gospel with every camper and guest!

At Day Camp, we will be doing everything on our gorgeous PNW campus. It’s been fun reimagining and planning our Day Camp program to host more on-campus activities that allow for social distancing so campers can safely remove their face coverings as much as possible.

What to pack

1. Face Covering

Every camper, guest, and staff member must have a face covering at BLBC. Read more about that HERE.

Your face covering can be a bandana, tubi, a light scarf, or a mask.

2. Water Bottle

Campers must bring a water bottle to camp! We will be stopping for frequent water breaks and with the addition of face-covering, we will be doing this even more than we typically do. Please bring a water bottle for your camper!

3. Change of clothes

Because sometimes spills happen, and sometimes the weather plays tricks on us. Pack a change of clothes for those “just in case” moments.

4. Swimsuit

Girls must wear a one-piece suit. No speedos.

5. Spray-on sunscreen

Cabin leaders cannot help apply run-on sunscreen, so please bring a spray sunscreen in case your camper needs help!

6. Bible

At Day Camp, our primary focus is to learn more about who God is! If your camper doesn’t have a Bible, let us know. We have free Bibles in the main office!

7. Camp Store Money

Twice a week, your camper will get the opportunity to buy a treat from the Camp Store. We’ll have little stuffed animals, candy, drinks, and even t-shirts for sale. You can pack any amount, but we suggest between $10 - $25.

At check-in, you’ll turn in any Camp Store money to the Registrar, so money doesn’t accidentally get lost.

If you have any questions about what to pack - contact us HERE.

We are so excited to share our summer with your camper!
