  3. All staff must wash their hands regularly, within reason.

COVID-19 FAQ

Are you hosting Summer Camps in 2021?

The short answer: Right now we are planning on hosting camp! At a minimum, Day Camp and our Summer Family Camp.

We have also opened registration for all of our other summer camps! The deposit for our resident camps (outside of Family Camp) is $10.00 this year. If for some reason mandates change, and we are unable to host these camps, only the deposit will be retained.

We will share more information as we have it. The best way to stay up to date is to join our Letter from the Lake weekly update letter!

What are your refund and cancellation policies in response to COVID-19?

  1. If the week you’ve registered for has been canceled in direct response to COVID-19 you will be given a full refund.

  2. If you cancel your registration and BLBC has NOT yet canceled in response to COVID-19 you will receive a refund for registration costs but not your deposit.

You can opt to cancel your stay and donate your registration cost to BLBC to help us whether COVID-19. If you’d like to do this (THANK YOU) please let us know!

I STILL HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY REFUND. WHAT DO I DO?

First of all, we are so sorry. This year has not gone how we had hoped and delivering refunds has been much more difficult than we imagined it would be. If you have not received a refund please know that we are committed to refunding you, unfortunately, it will just take longer than we had first hoped.

Please feel free to give us a call at (360) 357-8425 to ask us any questions and hear the latest status update on your summer 2020 refund.

What happens if a camper gets COVID-19 on the BLBC campus?

If a camper or staff member is suspected to have COVID-19 they will be sent home to recover and asked to get a COVID-19 test.

If the test results show positive for COVID-19 then all staff and campers who have been in contact with them within 72 hours of symptoms developing will be notified as soon as we are able to.

The sick camper or staff member will remain home for 14 days after a positive diagnosis.

When will you be hosting retreats and conferences again?

We are now open to hosting retreats and conferences at a limited capacity! Click below to submit an inquiry!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We have lost well over $100,000,000 in revenue directly due to COVID-19.

This is no small number and it continues to grow. We know that God will continue to provide for us through COVID-19 as he has for the last 74 years at BLBC.

God often uses people like you and me to be His hands and feet and bring about the provision we need to continue to do the work He has set before us.

We are asking for your help!

We need the financial support of our donor team to make ends meet, continue to pay staff, and keep the lights on at Black Lake Bible Camp.

Please become a monthly donor and help us to continue to do the work God has set before us.

As of November 2020, we have had to reduce several staff members to part time and we are doing all we can to limit expenses.

It is our goal to remain open through the COVID-19 pandemic as we believe that the work God is doing through this ministry is far too important to stop!

We need your help to accomplish this goal.

We urge you to consider partnering with us to transform the lives and hearts of people through faith in Jesus Christ.

Hey there!

We are Black Lake BIBLE CAMP & Retreat Center

During COVID-19 we hope to continue to pursue our mission to be used by God in the physical and spiritual formation of youth, families, and communities.

The best way we know how to do that during COVID-19 is through our BLBC Kids Program!

The BLBC Kids Program is similar to our Summer Day Camp but adapted and extended for the school year.

We have bible lessons, games, crafts, fun activities, and focused time to do school work during school closures.

Registration is open now.

We hope to see you at BLBC Kids!
